North Lincolnshire Councils Community Grant Fund has awarded Brigg Town Business Partnership £2,000 to help with the cost of staging a programme of events around the town that will help increase footfall to the town’s shopping area.
Coun Carl Sherwood (Brigg & Wolds), Cabinet Member for Customer Services, Sport and Leisure, said: “There are some fantastic groups in North Lincolnshire that do a lot for their community and we, as a council, aim to do all we can to support them. The Community Grant Fund not only supports local groups but individuals as well to help them achieve to the best of their ability.
