GREYHOUNDS IN BRIGG: Captain - 4 yrs; Dave - 3 yrs; Slip 5 yrs; Tyra 16 months and Robin 4 yrs with their Trust handlers. PICTURE BY KEN HARRISON
Saturday heard the patter of many  paws about Wrawby Street in Brigg - the Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust, a registered charity, was  making a collection and appeal to find suitable homes for retired racing greyhounds, writes KEN HARRISON.
After their racing careers were over many greyhounds were routinely put down, but the Trust has been successfully homing greyhounds since 1998.
All re-homed greyhounds are neutered, micro-chipped and come with support and guidance from Trust members.
