FURTHER DETAILS RELEASED ABOUT THE KEYO BRIGG BOMBER ON MAY 25, ORGANISED BY LINCSQUAD

There will be an official Keyo Brigg Bomber Programme for the event being organised by members of Lincsquad (Lincolnshire Quadrathlon Club) and consisting of a 1.5k river swim, 7k kayak, 36k bike & 10k run.
This is the first time ever that the world championships have been held in this country so its a great opportunity for Brigg and of international importance.
The water-based events will take place close to Ancholme Leisure Centre and the cycle race will go out towards Redbourne and Snitterby. However, the running will take place on a loop that will go through the town centre twice.
It is hoped the event will attract a lot of people into the town over the weekend when there will be a Farmers' Market and a River Festival on Saturday, May 24, including taster sessions for rowing and canoeing.
Brigg Town Council and North Lincolnshire Council are both supporting this event.
