PLANS FOR A BETTER BRIGG - BY THE MEN IN CHARGE

The Newlands housing estate in Brigg - picture on Nigel Fisher's Brigg Blog
The Newlands estate in Brigg is to see a £1.2 million investment in improved drainage and roads.
There's much of interest in the latest issue of the In Touch newsletter, covering Brigg and Wolds and produced by "your local team" of Conservatives - Couns Carl & Nigel Sherwood, Coun Rob Waltham and MP Andrew Percy. Copies are now being delivered to households in Brigg and district.
Information of note includes:

  • The Brigg Relief Road
  • Big plans for the Ancholme
  • Brigg Recreation Ground
  • Highway repairs to begin on Newlands housing estate
  • Extra police resources
  • Free book gifting scheme launched
  • Jobs Fair success at the Angel
  • New 'welcome' signs

If you aren't getting a copy delivered, contact the MP's office at 40 Bigby Street or have a word with any of the Brigg and Wolds Ward councillors mentioned earlier. They are all cabinet members of the North Lincolnshire authority. Andrew's email is brigg.goole@gmail.com

NOTE: Brigg Blog does not have any political affiliation. We select information we think will be of interest to our followers, based purely on its news value. We made the same point on a recent story about Labour politicians paying a visit to Brigg Market Place.
