Here's proof that Brigg railway station is being improved. Paving slabs have been delivered, ahead of improvements being made to the platform surface.

Since then he has umpired as a member of the Scunthorpe panel. He is results secretary of the Lincolnshire County Cricket League, chairman of the Broughton Evening League and supplies cricket content for the Scunthorpe Telegraph, the Grimsby Telegraph and the Lincolnshire Echo.
