Long-established Scentiments in Brigg has now closed and the Wrawby Street premises have been transformed into the new Lindsey Lodge Hospice charity shop. This is the changing face of retailing - Some shops come, others go. Many Brigg folk bought gifts at Scentiments down the years. So here, for the record, is a quick look back to how things were, including some royal souvenirs. Scentiments now forms part of the extensive Brigg Blog picture archive and will not be forgotten.
Nearby, in Wrawby Street, there use to be Bowen's (bread and cakes) and Waters (butcher's), also remembered by many. Happy memories.
