VIEW-BLOCKING BRIGG FOLIAGE IN NEED OF A TRIM

We praised North Lincolnshire Council, the highway authority, in a recent post for the way it has cut back sprouting leaves at the foot of trees that were obstruction drivers' visibility on Bigby Road in Brigg.
Since then we've been told that similar sprouting foliage is an issue on Woodbine Avenue/Central Square and on Queen Street (particularly when exiting Garden Street). There may be more around town..
It's a summer problem only, this one, but drivers would be very grateful if the council could send a gang round in a van, with a clippers, and remove these potential threats to road safety.
