'NO' TO BRIGG TAKEAWAY FLUE

North Lincolnshire Council planners have refused to grant permission for an extraction flue to be erected on the side of the Golden City takeaway between 76 Wrawby Street and the Little Butchery.
Turning down the application, the council considered such a device would be "an imposing modern addition that would have a detrimental impact on the character and appearance of the listed building and the surrounding conservation area."
As with all such cases, the applicant has the right to appeal to the Government in an effort to get the decision overturned by a planning inspector.
