HIGHWAYS BEING AFFORDED HIGH PRIORITY, BRIGG COUNCILLORS TOLD

Councillor Nigel Sherwood - the Cabinet Member for Highways and Neighbourhoods on North Lincolnshire Council - is not a member of Brigg Town Council but attends as an observer whenever he can.
He made it to the town authority's February meeting and delivered a short report, saying an extra £3 million for highways had been placed in North Lincolnshire's spending budget.
Coun Sherwood is one of the three Brigg and Wolds representatives on the unitary council, the others being his brother, Carl, and Coun Rob Waltham.
