WILL BRIGG JUBILEE DOG SHOW SEE ANY CORGIS?

Progressively, the Brigg Jubilee Committee is piecing together the programme for our town's June 4 celebrations of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Tattersfoals dancers will be performing from 11am as people begin to arrive and the picnic forms.
The Balloon Arch has been confirmed and is being sponsored by Brigg Matters.
The parade will form from 12.30 on Forrester Street and Engine Street, instead of outside Peacock and Binnington, as this will avoid having to cross the road onto Bridge Street.
The Air Ambulance will  be coming, as will the fire service.
Arenas will be marked out on the Recreation Ground and there will be afternoon family races and events
including welly wanging,  grandparent and child races, three-legged, egg and spoon etc, a tug of war and
gladiator-style competitions.
There will also be demonstrations from a Chinese Lion, Koko Ryu Karate Club, John Turner's Black
Belt Academy, Wendy Foster's school of Dance and the Batons of Steel Cheerleaders.
A fun dog show will have fun ategories like waggiest tail and dog looking most like its owner.
More should be confirmed at the next meeting of the organisers on April 25.
An Ecumenical Service of Thanksgiving will be held on Sunday, June 3  at 3.30pm in the Methodist Church.
