PUTTING YOU IN THE PICTURE ON BRIGG PARKING

In an effort to make our earlier Brigg Blog posting about Bigby Street parking a bit clearer, we've been out and taken these pix. We are suggesting that drivers need to show care and vigilance when making U-turns to park up near the former Post Office and also when pulling out of the lay-bys near what's now the sorting/parcels depot. We wonder whether North Lincolnshire Council road safety or traffic flow experts might take a look. Are there possible grounds for installing some sort of warning sign/signs for the benefit of motorists?  Brigg Blog is NOT suggesting U-turning should be banned or that parking in these lay-bys  should be restricted. But all motorists who use these handy parking spots need to keep their wits about them. Recently I saw a woman driver - sorry, just a statement of fact, not an implied criticism - cause a few concerns for the driver of a 4 x 4 coming down Bigby Street. She was trying to squeeze into one of the marked bays right outside the sorting office and he was coming from the direction of the church. No harm was done, but there's a bend in the road at this point and visibility isn't ideal.
