BRIGG CONSIDERS DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS

It will become clearer next Monday how Brigg plans to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Brigg Town Council's monthly meeting will receive and consider a report and recommendations from the Joint Working Group with Brigg District Lions "and determine the way forward regarding events to mark the Diamond Jubilee in Brigg."
Monday's meeting will be in the Angel Suite, from 7.30pm. The usual 15 minutes will be set aside at the start for Public Question Time, during which townsfolk can raise issues.
If you plan to go along to ask a question, or merely to sit and listen to the discussions, please note that you need to use the rear entrance to the Angel (see picture).
The meeting of Brigg Town Council's Planning and Environment Committee, planned to take place before the Council meeting, has been cancelled due to there being "no business to transact."
