KEY MARGINAL? - NOT REALLY

Brigg town councillor Ann Eardley (right) is selling these useful key-rings as part of a fundraising initiative by the St John Ambulance Brigg Adult Division.
They cost £2 and contain a metal disc you can use to free trolleys from the racks at major supermarkets.
I told her I wasn’t much of a shopper (very rarely buying enough to merit a trolley) but the ever-determined Ann still managed to make a sale!
Others attending the Town Council’s April meeting in the Angel Suite were also happy to support this good cause, including Coun Jane Kitching (seen above with Ann).
Despite councillors’ generosity, Ann still has many key-rings left in her locker. If you want to buy one, call her on 01652 657379.
Since this picture was taken we've had the Brigg Town Council election. Politics, fortunately, party politics have played no real part in proceedings at this lowest level of local government - certainly not in Brigg. So apologies for applying the phrase "key marginal" in this context. It was just too good to ignore!

To coin a phrase: Ann Eardley's really crafty...she sold me one of these devices.
We were in the Red Cross charity shop when Ann flashes the St Johns Ambulance key ring for 2 quid.
I told Ann it was perhaps not the right thing to do to flog St John's stuff in the Red X shop, but she flogged it to me anyway!

If only everyone showed Ann's community spirit...

.....she makes small things special; cares about little things; sees things that others have missed....if only they would listen......she carries the heart of Brigg on her sleeve...
