BOX THEIR EARS?

Along the lines of “How long is a piece of string?” Brigg Blog asks: “How long does it take to eat a pizza?”
This picture would seem to suggest that if you buy a takeaway and walk steadily you can negotiate Wrawby Road, almost as far as Churchill Avenue, before everything’s consumed.
We aren’t having a go at Brigg pizza houses, or other fast food outlets; it’s not their fault if customers can’t be bothered to take the wrappers home with them and merely discard them to litter our streets.
This wasn’t the only “used” pizza box we spotted the other day during a stroll round town, by any means.
North Lincolnshire Council collects litter in the town centre, but you can’t expect its tidying-up team to visit all our outlying streets, including Wrawby Road, close to Churchill Avenue.
