CREDIT WHERE CREDIT'S DUE

The North Lincolnshire Council binmen managed to get through to our part of town today and emptied all bins except the one for plastics/cardboard. Hope they reached your street, too. Further to the council's request for people to get their cars off the snowy highway to make way for the bin lorries, we note half St Helen's Road now blocked off by a hole in the road. Water repairs? Electricity? We don't think it's anything to do with the council.

Enormously large, Giant Snow Moles were reported to be breeding in the area.

The Council are digging an exploratory hole and are now looking into it.

The Great Little Lane Mystery

...or Take It, or Leave It

We get delayed duplicity in Wrawby, Scribs.
We were due bin emptying on Monday, but nothing happened.
All the folks left left their bins out in the anticipation that bin-folk would be around some time.
The bins were still not emptied on Tuesday.
By evening the bins seemingly had not been disturbed...so folks left their bins out in continued expection.
This morning, 8am, there was a lot of rattling echoes in the lane.....went to investigate to find a puzzled bin crew...they'd been sent to empty the bins, but the bins were empty!
None of the neighbours were aware of any earlier phantom crew, so it's a bit of local mystery of who, or what emptied the bins!!!
